Sargents Equipment is pleased to announce that we are now an authorized dealer for FAE attachments.
Adding FAE to our attachment lineup allows us to support more customers working in tree care, forestry, land clearing, landscaping, construction, road building, and site preparation. FAE manufactures professional attachments for excavators, skid steers, tractors, and specialized carriers, with products designed for demanding vegetation management, land clearing, and construction applications.
One of the biggest additions for Sargents Equipment is FAE’s lineup of forestry mulchers. These attachments process trees, brush, branches, undergrowth, and other woody material directly on the jobsite while producing a fine, consistent finished material. FAE mulchers use features such as an adjustable hydraulic door that allows operators to contain material inside the crushing chamber longer, further processing it before discharge. For land clearing, landscaping, roadside maintenance, forestry management, and site preparation, that can mean a cleaner and more uniform finished site.
FAE also offers rotary cutters and stump cutters for vegetation and stump removal, along with heavier land-preparation equipment such as forestry tillers, stone crushers, and multitask heads.
For construction and road-building applications, the FAE lineup includes road planers, wheel saws, soil stabilizers, stone crushers, and other specialized attachments for working with asphalt, concrete, stone, soil, and utility applications.
Their broad attachment lineup offers a wider range of options for Sargents to serve our customers better.
The value of an attachment comes down to more than whether it can perform the job. Production, finished quality, construction, technology, and the support available when the attachment needs maintenance all affect what it is like to own and operate every day.
FAE manufactures its machines in Italy across three production facilities and maintains its own steel-production subsidiary, giving the company greater control over the raw materials used in its equipment. The quality shows itself in the manufacturing process. Heavy steel construction, protected drive components, replaceable wear components, and interchangeable cutting tools are used throughout the FAE lineup to build attachments for demanding applications.
Additionally, FAE maintains its own research and development team, which uses feedback directly from operators in the field to improve existing products and develop new ones. From a products drawing to it’s production an assigned engineer follows it through it’s journey, associating their name with the product and adding another level of quality control and accountability before it finally leaves the factory.
FAE has also developed technology specifically around getting more performance from both the attachment and the carrier.
Its Bite Limiter rotor technology limits how aggressively the teeth engage the material, helping control power demand and maintain rotor speed rather than allowing the attachment to repeatedly bog down under heavy loads.
On compatible models, FAE’s Sonic system automatically calibrates and manages the hydraulic relationship between the carrier and attachment. According to FAE, its hydraulic optimization technology can improve productivity by more than 30% compared with similar machines by reducing rotor stalls and improving recovery when rotor speed drops.
FAE designs it’s attachments intentionally to process material efficiently, maintain production, and create a quality finished result.
